BROCKTON, Mass. ---- A total of 34 student-athletes at Massasoit Community College were recognized on the Athletic Academic Honor Roll for their efforts in the classroom during the 2015 fall semester.
To be eligible for the Athletic Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have completed at least 12 credits and maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Ruthersmith Bercy (Brockton) of the men’s track & field team produced the highest GPA amongst all student-athletes, recording a 3.92 while enrolled in 15 credits.
The women’s soccer team placed the highest number of student-athletes on the academic honor roll with eight, followed by the baseball team with seven.
In addition, 13 Massasoit student-athletes were named to the Dean’s List by accumulating a 3.4 GPA or higher this past fall, four from the women’s soccer team.
